The R9 is a size 9 from the Series 42. Pure Squirrel Pointed Rounds. This hair is soft and silky forming a beautiful tapered point. Pure Squirrel hair points as well as Kolinsky and Red sable, but has very little ‘snap’ because the hair isn’t very resilient. We use a mix of Canadian and Russian Squirrel hair. As with all of our brushes, this range is handmade to the highest quality and provides the Watercolorist with a hair that carries and distributes water well. The Series 42 offer a beautiful tapered point for watercolors, glass and silk. The reversible Pocket Brush is a convenient addition to your brush collection for those who like to paint on the move.
