(OLD MODEL) LaCie Rugged USB 3.0 Thunderbolt Series 1TB External Hard Drive (9000294)

Works great with my iMac and Macbook pro. Love the data transfer speeds from the thunderbolt connection. I have not used the thunderbolt cable that came with this hard drvie based on others reviews saying it overheats. Instead I purchased the original Apple MD862ZM/A Thunderbolt Cable – 0.5M(Newest Version). With the Apple’s thunderbolt cable I have not had any overheating problems even when transferring thousands of pictures to this hard drive at once. I was hesitant to spend so much more for a hard drive with less storage capacity then other brands, but the quality pays for itself and the faster transfer speeds are amazing. This hard drive is also very portable and easy to carry with you to school or for business at the office. I did extensive research about all the options for thunderbolt hard drives before purchasing this hard drive and I definitely feel this was a great choice.
