Product Description The Arduino Ethernet Shield W5100 R3 lets your Arduino board connect to a wired network using Ethernet. It is based on the Wiznet W5100 chip, offering a built-in TCP/IP stack with support for TCP and UDP protocols. With an onboard micro-SD card slot and RJ45 jack, it allows data logging, web-serving, file sharing, and many Internet of Things applications. Designed for Arduino Uno, Mega, or any compatible board with standard headers. Features Wiznet W5100 Ethernet controller chip with built-in TCP/IP stack. Supports up to four simultaneous socket connections (TCP/UDP). RJ45 Ethernet jack with transformer and LED indicators. Onboard micro-SD / SD card slot for data storage or serving files. Full compatibility with Arduino Ethernet library. Standard shield form factor so it stacks directly on Arduino boards. Use of SPI bus pins (digital pins 10, 11, 12, 13) for communication with the W5100; includes proper reset hardware. LEDs: power, link, 100M / 10M activity, TX/RX for network diagnostics.
