Wednesday evenings (6 weeks) May 6-June 17 (skip June 3) 5:00-8:00 pm EST Instructor: Elizabeth Allen All levels are welcome! By request, we have added an evening watercolor class! Learn to paint with watercolor and take advantage of its transparent qualities. Students will learn how to use the characteristics of water combined with paint to create line, value, and color. There will be instruction and demonstrations on various methods and techniques. You will paint from life, from a still life provided by the instructor, and paint a landscape from your own photo(s). Having a good foundation on the paper before beginning to paint is crucial, so we will spend the first class with drawing and composition lessons. Feel free to bring a snack or sack dinner with you. We have a fridge, microwave, and convection oven.
